Tasting Notes

Species Origin & Preparation: Sourced from the Beluga sturgeon (Huso huso) farmed in the pristine Danube Delta. It is prepared in the traditional Russian malossol style, meaning it is lightly salted with no borax. This is the same iconic species as the Caspian Beluga but offers a unique European river character.

Grading Characteristics: This selection is offered in grade 000, the lightest and most prized Beluga expression.

Tasting Notes: Creamy and rich with a clean, elegant ocean taste and a smooth, lingering finish.

Service

Serve well chilled and present with a restrained hand. Best suited to blinis, potato, creme fraiche and clean mineral pairings.
